So, I admit it… I’m horrible at using coupons! I know it could save my family a lot of money if I play my cards right and I totally get excited when I actually DO have a coupon (that hasn’t expired, is for something I actually use & I have it on me!) That said, it all feels like too much work, not to mention I have a hard time finding coupons for things I actually use. I have however learned that it’s not so much about having a coupon that saves you, $.75 off of a product doesn’t mean as much to me as perhaps it should. The key I’ve learned is to have a coupon AND get the item on sale! Then you can get things at rock bottom prices. (Enter image of bright light going off above my head!)
And that’s where my amazing friend Tina Gonzales comes in!! An old high school friend I reconnected with on Facebook, I was regularly BLOWN AWAY by her posts about grocery shopping trips and the crazy amounts of money she saved! ‘You are my hero!’ is my basic thought on her couponing skills!
After some requests I’m sure, TIna finally decided to start a blog & she diligently goes through the trouble of posting amazing ways to get deals on her blog! If you subscribe to the blog you will get email notifications every time something is posted and then can decide if it’s something for you or not. I have actually used several coupons from her posts and while I don’t think I’ll ever be as coupon-competent as she is, it’s a step in the right direction and she amazes me on a regular basis.
